Creating a meaningful runway for designers of the future.

Designer Nana Bandana has been fashion affiliated since an early age. Creating her own doll dresses with the assistance of her mother, who taught her how to sew. By the age of 14 she was set on becoming a fashion designer and joined ESMOD Berlin right after graduating in 2006. With a current urge to really work in fashion, Nana decided to leave school before her graduation and started her internship at Reality Studio, a Berlin based high-end womens brand. This led to a position as the Design Assistant and co-designing a collaboration sneaker with Reality Studio X Onitsuka Tiger, opening the doors to the footwear industry. In 2009 she met MDot, the CEO of the womens sneaker brand BOOJI and after working on some projects together, Nana moved from Berlin to NYC to become more involved designing for BOOJI. Having successfully created a few seasons in the footwear industry and living abroad Nana returned to Berlin to work her own brand. In 2012 she launched Y.B.N, an avant-garde womens brand, that fills the gap between high-end and streetwear.
