The “SMA” Fashion Awards Show is cleverly crafted to act as a progressive funding platform to emerging designers. It has long been established that British designers are renowned for their ability to set the global fashion agenda. With this is mind “Sponsor-Me” fashion awards was born to create a meaningful runway to designers of the future! The winner of our last Awards Show, was Sponsored by leading on-line retailers w.notjustalabel.com & w.modafirma.com to un-leash their creations, but also she received a wonderful array of additional exclusive prizes including a double page spread interview in http://fashionlondon.co Magazine … Our company’s mission is to tap into a pre-existing fashionable market by helping to raise awareness about the industry and the life struggles of un-earthed designers. We call this the retro alternative to the ‘British Fashion Awards’ where we seek to create the same vibe for the un-established designer using social-networks and digital marketing.
Our objectives are simple, to: Support up-coming designers. Provide a prestigious annual event and platform for them to showcase their work. Generate publicity and viable funding streams for participants and award winners. Offer an alternative route to market, for struggling designers.
Our preferred charity Over 80,000 young people will experience homelessness in the UK this year. This is a worryingly high figure, which doesn’t include many of the ‘hidden homeless’. Centrepoint believe that we should live in a society where all young people are able to realise their potential. Since 1969, They have helped over 75,000 homeless young people to do just that. Through their award-winning approach to supporting homeless young people, collaborating with others and influencing government policy, They will achieve Their vision of ending youth homelessness.
The founder of Sponsor Me Awards Miss Sommer Currie has a personal affinity towards the charity and helped raise nearly £500 through her event fundraising and a Tandem Skydive.
